Only now, I started to hesitate whether to change him or not, after all. He stayed looking like that, instead of an alien. I tried again and replaced him with the version that had normal eyes and normal skintone. That didn't work and the eyes stayed black. I opened the bin and first replaced him with the normal eye alien -version. Now, after that, went back to the town I play and took my alien sim into cas. Just wanted to have both options available. 3-Hour Small Group Night-Time National Mall Tour with 10 Top Attractions. Then I also saved that new skin version of him into bin, as well. I saved him into the bin again, before changing his skintone to normal. He was still an alien but now his eyes were normal, his dad's eyes actually. I went into cas, opened the bin and chosed my saved sim. Then I started a new game in a different town just in case, though probably not necessary. I used MC to take my sim into cas and copied him into the bin. Oh well, I guess it's at least one more generation of aliens then.ĮDIT: Okay, after testing different things, I think I found a way to change an alien into a normal sim. Too bad they didn't add that cheat into TS3. Though, in TS4 they are considered as an occult state according to the cheat. Think of it as wanting to turn a dog into a human. They're not like werewolves or mummies you can turn and demumify/dewerewolve a Sim. Changes: Ported the mod to MelonLoader and the current version of The Long Dark Add JsonModSettings extending ModSettingsBase for settings backed by a single. I don't think you can, because Aliens are classified as a different Sim (non-occult, as contradicting it sounds). Release for The Long Dark versions 1.78 - 1.83 and MelonLoader v0.2.3 or newer. Items can be stacked ontop of each other and placed on walls.Short answer: you can't. Use mouse Wheel while in move mode to rotate horizonal. Hold the ShiftKey Down and move the mouse while in item move mode to rotate fully. Spacebar = Jump in game Item Stacking & Rotation PageDown = Simulate tapping mouse twice during a wolf/bear struggle (makes it easier to win)Ĭontrol+PageUp = Convert any fire to a permanent fire (same as Grey Mothers) or stop it from being a permanent fireĬontrol+PageDown = Immediately end a wolf/bear struggle with the animal dead at your feetĬontrol+A = Aurora (force Aurora on even during daytime allowing torch etc to always work)Ĭontrol+B = Infinite burn time for Lantern/Flare/Torch (they never go out)Ĭontrol+W = Ice Walker (never fall in thin ice)Ĭontrol+H = Instantly heal the player of all damage (max condition) and removes all afflications including spraines/poison etcĬontrol+Numpad0-9 = Save current location PageUp = Simulate adding coal to current fire Modding for The Long Dark is back - at least somewhat Thanks to the great effort of the MelonLoader developers, mods are now once again reasonably easy to write for IL2CPP games. Home = Acccess the portable chest that works anywhere in game and across sandboxes/story (inventory sharing etc) = Same as above but decrease instead of increase (inventory menu still)ĭelete = Delete the selected item from the inventory menuĮnd = Bullet Time (slows game down enough to aim at wolfs/bears etc with bow/gun) + = Increase the item count of the selected item (inventory menu) such as changing matches from 10 to 11 and it increases ammo in a gun etcĪlso this will duplicate an item that does not have a stack count
